As a standalone project, after a lot of frustration with the Norwegian golf booking system Gimmie (formerly Golfbox), known for its poor UX/UI, I decided to take matters into my own hands. By studying other apps with similar purposes in sports like padel and tennis, I found inspiration and started designing.
The app features an intuitive design with simple, elegant details that give it a modern yet lively look. With functions such as the ability to actively follow your friends in real time while they are on the golf course, and the option to log played courses, the experience becomes both more flexible and more enjoyable.
The app’s horizontal, scroll-friendly calendar provides a clear and user-friendly way to easily register your upcoming golf rounds.
